NKC ANNUAL CONFORMATION SHOWS

Show dates - Oct 7th, 8th & 9th, 2017
Our Conformation Shows are always held in October on the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend at the Trout Creek Community Centre.

This years Thanksgiving weekend we will have 6 All Breed Conformation Shows including Baby Puppy and Veteran classes. A Friday night Fun Match along with our Annual Saturday Turkey Supper, a Sunday Roast Pork dinner and Auction.

Trailer Parking -  $25.00 per night when paid at time of arrival on the day of our show.  Hydro electricity and water hookups are available for a limited number of parking spots on a first come, first serve basis.  Reserved trailer parking and paid in advanced discount: 3 nights for $65.00 or 4 nights for $75.00. Please note: to receive the discount, trailer parking must be reserved either by submitting with your entries via the premium list or by contacting Deanne  via email or phone 705 723-2387 and all parking fees paid in advance prior to the show date.   

Menu - Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner, $19.00 (Saturday) and Roast Dinner, $16.00 (Sunday). Dinner Reservations should be sent to MJN Show Services. A new, varied breakfast and lunch menu will also be available for all 3 days of shows.

Arena Access - The Arena will be available for access at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9th until 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 12th. Closing time of the arena will be 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday the arena will close immediately after the show is completed. All dogs are left in the building at the owner’s risk.

You MUST clean up after your dogs in the fields around the Arena. The grounds will be monitored, to ensure the Sports Fields are left in proper condition for the community. Exhibitors who DO NOT clean up after their dogs, may forfeit acceptance of their entries at our future shows.

CHAMPIONS AND CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS

Chapter 15, Section 15.1.1 A dog awarded Winners at a conformation show shall be credited with a number of championship points (ranging from 0 to 5) and the number of championship points credited to a dog awarded Winners shall be as provided hereunder.
Section 15.1.2 The schedule to be employed in the determination of the number of points to be allocated a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as follows:

In counting the number of eligible dogs in competition, a dog that is disqualified, dismissed, excused or ordered from the ring by the judge SHALL NOT be included in the calculation for championship points.
To determine the number of championship points earned by a dog awarded Winners, total all the dogs in competition which the dog defeated, directly or indirectly, for the highest of the following official breed awards: Winners, Best of Winners, Best of Breed, or Best of Opposite Sex and then consult the schedule set forth above.
Section 15.1.8 A Dog awarded Winners which also places in the regular Group competition shall be credited with the following additional points, provided that a dog was defeated at the group level, save that no more than five (5) points will be credited to a dog for a single show.

Section 15.1.11 A class dog awarded Best in Show at an all-breed Championship show will be credited with five points inclusive of any points earned at the breed or group level.
Section 15.1.12. In order for a dog to be recognized as a Champion and its owner provided with a Championship Certificate, the dog must have earned at least one 2 point win either at the breed or group level
