to promote friendship and goodwill among dog fanciers and the community.
- To further the advancement of all purebred dogs in the area.
- Conduct Obedience Trials, and Conformation shows under the rules of the Canadian Kennel Club Inc.
- Hold Training Classes for the betterment of dogs.
- Promote friendship and goodwill among the members and the community.
About the NKC
The Nipissing kennel club serves North Bay, Ontario and all surrounding areas. All our members are committed to the preservation and advancement of purebred dogs and strive to promote friendship and goodwill among dog fanciers and the community.
The club participates in many public education events and holds 6 Conformation Show and 6 Obedience Trials annually on the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend in Trout Creek, Ontario.
The NKC holds monthly meetings on the 4th Tuesday of each month in Callander, and in Powassan we offer obedience classes twice yearly that are open both to the members and the general public. We also offer on-going members only training sessions.
